They produce semi-conductors of certain materials. Their resistance must be among the resistance of a conductor and a non-conductor. The resistance of semiconductors also is influenced by variations of temperature or used dashes.
The material is known to have impurities if some other components have been mixed to it. Semi-conductors are marked as semiconductor assembly of type-n or type-t depending on the kind of finished mixture.
Diodes as well as transistors are made of those 2 variants of semi-conductors. Mainly silicon is applied to create semiconductors these days.
Just to send the process of electrical current in just one direction diodes are necessary. They are created of semiconductor material.
